About Us

Founded in 1994 by Avis Hart and her late husband Tony, Care Response remain Ascot’s longest established provider of domiciliary care.

We remain independent too, which has helped us build excellent working relationships with the areas GPs and District Nurses and in turn provide reliable and quality care for all of our clients.

Diane Brown

Registered Manager (RMA Level 4)

Key areas of focus – CQC compliance and recruitment

I joined Care Response in 1998 first as a part time Care Worker and then as the Registered Manager in 2000. During this time, I have built strong relationships with other health providers. I am also on the board of the Berkshire Care Association representing the homecare sector.
I love working at Care Response as I believe everyone is entitled to remain in their own home and with our support clients can do so in a safe and caring environment.

I enjoy working in the community as well as the operational side of care and am proud to have supported many families over the last 26 years with our small but dedicated team of Care Workers, many of which have been with us for over 10 years.

In my spare time I love to chill with my 3 dogs and reading as well as looking after my own parents who live with me.

Paula Eagle

Quality Assurance Manager (IPC – ‘Leading Care Services into the 21st Century’)

Key areas of focus – Building and maintaining client and care worker relationships

I have over 23 years of experience in the care industry, working in both the public and private sectors in management positions.
Previously I worked for a large corporate company for 20 years progressing to management. The skills I developed have been transferable into the care industry, good organisational and planning and being able to work effectively with employees, stakeholders and clients.

My Health and Social Services management qualifications enabled me to take a previous care company from a CQC rating of adequate to good in just 11 months.

My passion within the industry is safeguarding, quality assurance, Health & Safety ultimately ensuring our clients receive a personal service in the way they choose, promoting independence as far as is possible.

I am approachable, friendly and helpful, I also enjoy mentoring and supporting our team of Care Workers to progress, sharing knowledge. I truly believe in a happy team culture, which then transpires into the positive service we provide to our clients.
I am extremely proud of Care Response and the care we deliver, a small managed service, we know our clients personally and their individual needs and we offer a professional service where the clients are at the heart of everything we do.

Dear Olivia, this is to thank you and the team of carers who looked after Mum so well in the last few weeks of her life. Please will you convey our gratitude to them all…
A very big thank you from myself and family to all the carers who helped look after my husband. Without them we couldn’t fulfill his wish, and mine, for him to live in his own…
To Hege, Many thanks for all your help and kindness. With love from J. J. K. x
